Pengertian Past Future Continuous Tense

Past future continuous tense has other term; it is past future progressive tense. This kind of tense is a tense that is used to suggest one future event or action that will be continuing or going on in one point of future time in the past usually in narration. This past future continuous tense is actually uncommon in daily use.
Past future continuous tense uses an independent clause in simple past tense form to express an action that will be going on in one point of time in the past time or to express an assumption or prediction about an event or an action that will be going on in the certain time in the past time.

Rumus Past Future Continuous Tense
Setiap tenses mempunyai rumus atau pattern kalimat yang berbeda dan diformulasikan untuk membantu memahami erbagai macam tenses yang biasanya kita kenal ada 16 itu. Rumus Past Future Continuous Tense ditulis sebagai berikut:

Subject + Would/Should + Be + Verb-ing + Object

Contoh dan penggunanaan Past Future Continuous Tense

Past future continuous tense is made up of subject of the sentence and then followed by would/ should (the past form of will/shall) and then next is followed with future form of to be and then followed by the present participle form of a verb or the –ing form of verb and the last is followed by the object of the sentence if there is any. The illustration of the past future continuous formula is pictured in the following one:
The Formula (+): Subject + Would/Should + Be + Present participle or the –ing form + Object
For example:
She would be staying in at home in the evening at the time you invited her to go out yesterday
The negative form of past future continuous tense is composed by putting the word ‘not’ between would/should and be. As a result, the formula of negative past future continuous tense is illustrated as below:
The Formula (-): Subject + Would/Should + Not + Be + Present participle or the –ing form + Object
For example:
She would not be staying in at home in the evening at the time you invited her to go out yesterday
In addition, to make up a question form of past future continuous tense is by putting would/should in the front part of the sentence or after the question words
